Rangers Honoring Día de los Muertos | Celebrating Culture & Connection
Today, on November 2nd, we join our Hispanic community in celebrating Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) — a beautiful tradition that honors the lives of loved ones who have passed on.
At Lara Academy we believe that being a culturally responsive school means embracing and celebrating the diverse traditions that make up our community. By recognizing Día de los Muertos, we not only honor our Hispanic students and families, but also nurture a deeper sense of belonging, identity, and emotional connection for all.
Our students learn that remembrance is an act of love — one that keeps memories alive and strengthens the bonds between generations.
Today, we celebrate life, heritage, love and the power of Hispanic culture that bring us together.
